To be played on Sunday 28th February 2016 at 14:05. Venue: White Hart Lane, London
Odds: Tottenham 4/9, Draw 7/2, Swansea 13/2
Tottenham Hotspur welcome Swansea City to White Hart Lane on Sunday for their latest Premier League clash.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men are currently second in the table, just two points behind leaders Leicester City with 12 matches remaining, and it is games like this Spurs must win if they are to overtake the Foxes and claim the title in May.
Tottenham’s last league match was a 2-1 win against Manchester City in mid-February and that result means they will head into this one with plenty of confidence.
That said, Swansea are fighting for their top-flight future as they currently sit 16th in the table, just three points clear of the bottom three.
In early team news, Tottenham are without long-term absentees Jan Vertonghen and Clinton N’Jie while midfielder Tom Carroll is not yet ready to return.
Mousa Dembele is out with a groin injury until the middle of March while Harry Kane’s broken nose will see him feature in a mask if he does take to the field.
With all that in mind here is how we expect Tottenham to line up this weekend:
- Hugo Lloris
- Toby Alderweireld
- Danny Rose
- Kyle Walker
- Kevin Wimmer
- Nacer Chadli
- Dele Alli
- Eric Dier
- Christian Eriksen
- Erik Lamela
- Harry Kane
- Lukasz Fabianski
- Federico Fernández
- Angel Rangel
- Neil Taylor
- Ashley Williams
- André Ayew
- Leon Britton
- Jack Cork
- Wayne Routledge
- Gylfi Sigurdsson
- Alberto Paloschi
