Paul Merson believes Tottenham will beat Swansea 2-0 on Sunday.
Spurs head into the game having beaten Fiorentina 3-0 in the Europa League on Thursday night, and some may have questions about the fitness of the players after that match.
However, Spurs have generally balanced playing in the Premier League and Europa League well this season, and now the game against Swansea is the focus for Mauricio Pochettino, as he bids to win the Premier League title.
After Leicester's dramatic late win over Norwich City, Spurs are five points off top spot, and need to keep winning in order to stay on the tails of league leaders Leicester, with Swansea deemed unlikely to pose much of a test for Pochettino's side.
The Swans have endured a difficult season, as after sacking Garry Monk, they are now managed by Italian Francesco Guidolin - but has seen his side pick up just two points from the last three games.
That kind of form doesn't lend itself towards avoiding relegation, as Swansea still sit just three points clear of the bottom three, and are in desperate need of points.
Now, pundit Paul Merson has offered his verdict on the game, telling Sky Sports that he thinks that Swansea are on a 'slippery slope' - and believes Tottenham will win 2-0 at White Hart Lane, with striker Harry Kane scoring the first goal despite his nose injury.
"I worry for Swansea because I don't think they are defensively very good," said Merson. "Francesco Guidolin has come in and is having to adapt to the Premier League. He started off alright but now they are on a bit of a slippery slope towards the relegation zone."
"On the other hand, Spurs are flying in the league and they can pick up another three points in front of their home fans with a 2-0 win. I'm backing Harry Kane for the opener," he added.
