With Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City not in action, Leicester had the opportunity to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table and put pressure on their rivals.
Relegation-threatened Norwich were never going to just lie down for the Foxes, and for long periods a 0-0 draw looked on the cards as the hosts struggled to break the visitors down.

Taking to Twitter after the final whistle, Lineker, Owen and Higginbotham were full of praise for Leicester.

The victory moves Leicester up to 56 points from 27 games played, five clear of Spurs who play another team battling relegation in Swansea City at White Hart Lane on Sunday.
With the season entering the so-called business end, Leicester have put themselves in a remarkable position to win the Premier League title and they have arguably the easiest run-in.
Up next on Tuesday, the East Midlands club host West Bromwich Albion at the King Power Stadium.
