The Leeds boss has been discussing the former Brighton man.
The 26-year-old used to play for Brighton, who Leeds face in the Championship on Monday night.
And Evans joked that Bridcutt could enter the wrong dressing room as he was so good during his time at the Seagulls.
Overall, the Scot is delighted to have the midfielder back fit for United.
Evans told the BBC: "He's back in today [Friday]. If he goes in the wrong dressing room, I'll kill him. He was so good at Brighton.
"They're good people at Brighton and I know what they think of Liam. But he'll be focused. We're looking forward to having him back."
Bridcutt seems to be better remembered at Brighton than he is at Sunderland, while Leeds fans have been very impressed with the 26-year-old during his time at Elland Road so far.
It looks as though the midfielder is much better suited to Championship football than the Premier League.
But that's not to rule out eventual top-flight success for the Leeds loanee. Fans will no doubt hope he stays with the Yorkshire club next season.
