Celtic fans react on Twitter to Scott Brown's performance v Hamilton

The Bhoys faithful had some choice words for their captain on Friday night.

Scott Brown came in for some criticism earlier this season but Celtic fans have since directed their wrath towards plenty of the skipper's team-mates.

Last night, Dedryck Boyata was sent off and Leigh Griffiths missed a penalty (although he also scored). A number of Bhoys stars hid from the spotlight, meanwhile, and were accused of shying away.

But a big section of the Celtic support once again seemed unhappy with Brown's performance against Hamilton.

The Hoops dropped two points after their 1-1 draw and plenty were disappointed with the 30-year-old's display. There were even suggestions it was Brown's worst game in a Celtic shirt.

Perhaps some of the comments were harsh - but there was scrutiny of Brown's actual ability to lead, as well as his ability to pass.

Hopefully for Celtic fans, there will be less criticism of the captain in the coming weeks - as his performances won't warrant any. Here's how supporters reacted on Twitter to the 30-year-old's showing v Hamilton...
