Allardyce sends message on Twitter ahead of West Ham clash, makes intention known

Allardyce deflated

West Ham United will face Sunderland in the Premier League on Saturday.

Sunderland manager Sam Allardyce has taken to social networking site Twitter to urge his side to pick up all three points this weekend.

The Black Cats will return to action on Saturday afternoon when they take on West Ham United away from home in the Premier League.

Allardyce’s side will head into the match at the Boleyn Ground on the back of a 2-1 victory over Manchester United.

The game will also be the Englishman’s first as an opposition manager at the Boleyn Ground since leaving West Ham at the end of last season.

It will be an emotional afternoon for Allardyce, but he has made it clear on Twitter that he wants his players to bag all three points from the encounter.

Sunderland are second from bottom in the Premier League table at the moment with 23 points from 26 matches.

The Black Cats are in danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.

Allardyce’s side need to win against West Ham in order to enhance their chances of survival in the Premier League.
