Wolves have signed Sheffield Wednesday full-back Jeremy Helan on loan until the end of the season.
The club confirmed the news on their official website, with the 23-year-old joining in hope of regular football.
Helan can also play on the left wing as well as left-back, and featured in Sheffield Wednesday's cup wins over Premier League sides Newcastle United and Arsenal this season.
The Frenchman has made just five Championship starts this season for the Owls, with a further 12 substitute appearances.
Sheffield Wednesday are in sixth position and are mounting a play-off push, and opportunities were clearly going to be limited for Helan with the Owls doing so well.
Wolves are having a disappointing season, already looking like they are out of the play-off picture, and lost 3-0 away at Brentford in midweek.
The addition of Helan gives them a quick lift, ahead of a tough couple of games against Derby County and Middlesbrough.
Here is a look at the reaction to Helan's loan move from fans of both teams...
Surprised we've let Helan go. Not the greatest full back, but a good pacy option late on in games.— Andrew Lilley (@Blyth35) February 25, 2016
Seems sending Helan out on loan was cheaper than getting him that brain transplant after all #swfc— Iain Branson (@iainb79) February 25, 2016
Helan signed from Wednesday. Bound to be on the bench, be played out of position, or end up injured!!— Steve Wiles (@wiles_steve) February 25, 2016
Sheffield Weds fans are glad to see Helan go, but who cares?! Newcastle fans were practically throwing Williamson down here and he's class— Robert Kostur (@Robbo_WWFC) February 25, 2016
Helan is a good addition, gives options especially at the back with kortney fit too. Be interesting to see where he slots in— Mikey Burrows (@BurrowsMikey) February 25, 2016
Pleased w Helan but what was the point of letting Golbourne go in the first place? Same w Stears & MW. Recruitment strategy a mess. #wwfc— Paddy Day (@paddyday90) February 25, 2016
