Celtic winger Forrest has been linked with QPR and Norwich City.

Speaking to the Daily Record, Ronny Deila has confirmed that no clubs have yet made enquiries for Celtic winger James Forrest, despite QPR and Norwich City being linked with him.

Whilst discussing Forrest’s likely exit from Parkhead, Deila confirmed: “Nobody I know has enquired about him.”

Forrest has rejected a contract extension to stay with the Bhoys, which means that his exit is extremely likely.

As his deal expires next December, Celtic could push to sell him this summer to ensure they receive a fee for his services.

If Forrest does not leave in the summer, Celtic will lose him for free the following January transfer window, something that Deila does not want to happen.

Due to his contract situation, interest has piqued in the winger, with BBC Sport claiming that QPR and Norwich want him this summer.

However, Deila has confirmed that he has not yet received any enquiries for the Celtic academy product, despite the interest in him.

Forrest has played 144 games for the Bhoys, and Deila will be expecting offers to be made for him this summer.

There is no indication as to the transfer fee Celtic will be asking for Forrest this summer.
