Rodney Marsh reacts on Twitter to Tottenham win, Ray Clemence makes defiant statement

Tottenham Hotspur won against Fiorentina in the Europa League on Thursday.

Former Querns Park Rangers and Manchester City forward Rodney Marsh has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Tottenham Hotspur’s win against Fiorentina on Thursday evening.

Tottenham got the better of Fiorentina 3-0 at home in the second leg of the Europa League round of 32 tie.

Ryan Mason put Spurs in the lead at White Hart Lane in the 25th minute, and Erik Lamela double the advantage on 63 minutes.

An own goal from Gonzalo Rodriguez in the 82nd minute wrapped up the scoring for the North London outfit.

The 3-0 home win means that Tottenham have progressed to the last 16 of the Europa League 4-1 on aggregate.

Marsh was following the match, and he was impressed with the performance of Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

Former Tottenham goalkeeper Ray Clemence was also following the match, and he suggested on Twitter that Spurs can cope without star striker Harry Kane, who missed the game against Fiorentina due to a broken nose.
