Liverpool are interested in Malaga's Ignacio Camacho.
Liverpool are monitoring Malaga midfielder Ignacio Camacho, The Mirror report, and could get him for a knockdown price.
The report claims Camacho has a release clause of eight million Euros (£6.3m), while the cash-strapped side could even be forced to accept a lower offer, one they speculate would be half the price.
Even if Malaga's financial situation improves between now and July, Camacho's release clause is an affordable one.
Camacho has one cap for Spain and was a regular for the under-21 side, representing his country at every level from under-17 upwards.
He spent most of the early part of the season out with an injury but has been a regular since returning, and recently captained Malaga in games against Eibar and Getafe.
The 25-year-old defensive midfielder began his career at Atletico Madrid, and still has the best years of his career ahead of him. He would be an interesting option for the Reds if they wanted to sign him up on the cheap, and replace James Milner or Lucas Leiva in midfield.
