Rangers fans poked fun at Celtic loanee Anthony Stokes' performance as Hibernian lost to Greenock Morton.

Hibernian blew a big chance to put pressure on Rangers at the top of the Scottish Championship, by losing 3-0 to Greenock Morton.

The midweek game was Hibs' game in hand on Mark Warburton's side, with the defeat meaning the gap between first and second place stands at eight points rather than five.

There were disappointing displays all over the field from Hibs, with Anthony Stokes included.

The striker signed on loan from Scottish champions Celtic in the January transfer window and got off to a good start, netting in his first two games.

Since then he has missed one match through injury and now failed to net in his last two, which is not disastrous, but the result last night will have felt like it.

Stokes was substituted after 77 minutes and looked miserable as he came off the field at Easter Road after an ineffective performance.

His failure to make an impact caused much hilarity for Rangers fans, who were the direct beneficiaries of Morton's impressive victory.

Here is a look at how Rangers fans mercilessly mocked Celtic and Hibs forward Stokes for his display...
