Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has said on Twitter that his favourite goal for the club came in a Europa League fixture against Shamrock Rovers.
Earlier this week, Kane was ruled out of the second leg against Fiorentina in the same competition after suffering a broken nose, but that did not stop the England international interacting with supporters ahead of the match at White Hart Lane.
The 22-year-old invited his 405,000 followers on the social media website to ask him questions ahead of kick-off, and Kane chose to answer one that was directly involved with the tournament.
In December 2011, Spurs were eliminated from the Europa League at the group stages after defeats to Rubin Kazan and PAOK, but they bowed out in fashion with a 4-0 victory against the Irish outfit.
Steven Pienaar, Andros Townsend and Jermain Defoe had already given Spurs a 3-0 advantage before Kane was introduced as a 76th-minute substitute.
As the match entered added-on time, it appeared that the North Londoners would have to settle for three, but Kane - then 18 years of age - spun his marker before finishing inside the penalty area.
However, Kane would have to wait for a prolonged spell in the first team, instead being loaned out to Millwall for the rest of the season.
