HITC Sport understands interest is mounting in Nigerian midfielder.
Hapoel Be'er Sheva Nigerian midfielder John Ogu is attracting interest from a host of clubs across Europe, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the player.
Ogu has been earning rave reviews since joining Hapoel Be'er Sheva in September 2014 and he has been instrumental in helping the club to the top of the Israeli Premier League this season.
The attacking midfielder's form at Hapoel has not gone unnoticed among Europe's top leagues with Ogu one of the stars in the Israeli Premier League.
Clubs from England, France and Greece have been keeping tabs on Ogu's progress at Hapoel as they weigh up a move for the Nigerian in the summer.
Hapoel are determined to keep hold of their prize asset, but are bracing themselves for interest in Ogu with clubs hoping to lure him away to a bigger league.
Ogu's agent, Hootan Ahmadi, is aware of the growing interest in the midfielder, but insists the player is happy at Hapoel Be'er Sheva.
"It is flattering that other clubs are looking at Ogu, but he is happy at Hapoel until he is told otherwise," Ahmadi told HITC Sport.
"Ogu is under contract at Hapoel and he is happy to see out his contract there."
