Liverpool made it through to the last 16 of the Europa League with a nervy 1-0 win over Augsburg at Anfield.
An early James Milner penalty following Dominik Kohr's handball was enough for Jurgen Klopp's side to book their place in the next round of the competition following on from their 0-0 draw in Germany last week.
In the end they ended up hanging on as the visitors spurned one or two promising openings. It wasn't the best performance, but the main thing is that they got the job done.
Here's how they rated...
Simon Mignolet - A couple of reasonable saves, and looked ok with the ball at his feet, decent decision making. More of the same from him wouldn't go amiss - 7
Nathaniel Clyne - Find myself writing this a lot. Solid, does nothing wrong, Liverpool will take that in most games to be honest - 6
Lucas Leiva - That was one awful back pass but when he was aggressive, he was at his best. Bit error strewn in possession altogether - 5
Mamadou Sakho - Liverpool's best defender on the night. Even in times when he looked unsure, he got the side out of trouble. Solid in, at times, a frenetic display - 7
Alberto Moreno - A threat going forward, another one whose decision making in possession was questionable. Needs to call on that experience he had when winning the competition with Sevilla - 5
Emre Can - At times he did a good thing, other times bad, and then looked lost. Still needs to do some convincing if he's going to make the grade - 5
Jordan Henderson - One of his better games of late. Seems like heel is still troubling him but thought he looked bright, some decision making needs addressing. Just need to play it simple - 6
James Milner - Great penalty, ran himself into the ground so focus was there. One of the cooler heads in an edgy side in closing stages - 6
Philippe Coutinho - Not his best, still finding his way back to fitness. Had chances to help finish the game but didn't - 5
Roberto Firmino - Kept finding pockets of space and linked well. Another day he scores two and we laud a sparkling display but not tonight - 6
Daniel Sturridge - Gives the side that extra dimension. Always a little more expectation of Reds of adding to their goal tally with him in the side. Should've taken chance after break - 6
Divock Origi - Held the ball up well and one player that didn't look phased by the situation he was introduced to. Mature - 6
Joao Carlos Teixeira - He gets a mark for the cool way he brought the ball out of defence after panic. Impressive qualities but you sense he may need to step up a level if he's to make it - 6
