Erik Lamela has expressed his delight on Twitter after returning to Tottenham Hotspur training.
Lamela was a doubt to feature against Fiorentina in the Europa League later this evening, but it seems that the Argentine winger could be fit to play a part.
The 23-year-old has missed Spurs' last two games with illness, but it seems that he has made a full recovery now.
And Lamela was pleased to be back in training with his teammates, as they were put through their paces by Mauricio Pochettino yesterday.
Lamela is currently enjoying his best season at White Hart Lane, and he has started to prove his worth to the Lilywhites.
Although the former Roma man made a slow start in English football, he seems to have adapted to the demands now - and he has played an important role for Spurs.
Lamela has racked up 30 appearances in all competition this term, and become on of Pochettino’s side main attacking threats.
Tottenham go into their match against Fiorentina, holding a slight advantage after grabbing an away goal in a 1-1 draw in Italy last week.
It means that Tottenham just need to keep a clean-sheet at White Hart Lane this evening to be assured of making it into the last 16.
