Payet said: “I'd like to raise a trophy, open my record, play major international competitions. I had an extraordinary year both in terms of football that family. I am the father of a third boy since I arrived in London. I lack nothing. Everything is fine.”
Payet could realise his dream of winning a trophy with West Ham this season, as they are challenging in the later stages of the FA Cup.
Although they are out of the running for every other competition, the Hammers defeated Blackburn in the last round of the FA Cup by a 5-1 scoreline.
They have progressed into the next round, when they will take on Manchester United, a game many expect the Hammers will win.
Slaven Bilic’s team are certainly in better form than United, and with Payet, they own a player who can change a game by himself.
He netted twice in the victory over Blackburn, and with more performances of that quality, the Hammers could realistically go on to win the whole competition.
They can match up with every team left in the cup, and Payet will be hoping his fantastic debut season with the Hammers ends with them lifting the FA Cup at Wembley Stadium.
