Derby County trio react to win over Blackburn on Twitter

Derby County West Stand

Three of Derby County's squad tweet their delight after the Rams beat Blackburn Rovers 1-0 in the Championship on Wednesday night.

The trio of Stephen Warnock, Abdoul Camara and Darren Bent have taken to Twitter to react to their side's important 1-0 victory over Blackburn Rovers on Wednesday.

Before Saturday, the Rams had gone eight games without a win in the Championship, but the 3-1 comeback success at Brentford renewed belief at the iPro Stadium.

That new-found confidence was on show in the East Midlands as an early strike from Jacob Butterfield gave Derby a 1-0 triumph over their North-West opponents.

After the three points were registered, Warnock, who is currently sidelined, and Camara, who was an unused substitute, tweeted their delight after witnessing their side hold off a strong finish from Blackburn.

Darren Bent also tweeted his thoughts as well as giving fans an update on his availability for the weekend after missing last night's game through illness.

The second three points in succession has moved Derby into fifth place in the Championship table, just six points adrift of leaders Hull City.

That deficit and their league position could change depending on the result between Hull City and Sheffield Wednesday on Friday evening, but Derby will hope to put the pressure on their promotion rivals when they travel to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday lunchtime.
