Tottenham will take on Swansea at White Hart Lane in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
The former Liverpool defender believes that Spurs will pick up all three points from the encounter courtesy of a 2-0 victory.
“Tottenham played poorly against Crystal Palace and are out of the FA Cup but I am not reading too much into that performance, or the result,” Lawrenson told BBC Sport.
“People will ask 'are they tired?' especially because they play in the Europa League again ahead of this weekend, but they just had one bad game.
“I don't expect the same to happen against Swansea, who are still teetering a bit above the drop zone.”
Tottenham are in better form and have a better team than Swansea, and it will be a surprise if the North London outfit slip up.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side will be confident of picking up all three points against a team who are fighting for survival in the Premier League at the moment.
It will not be easy for Spurs, though, as the Swans do have some good players who will be keen on showing their ability against a Premier League title contender.
An early goal for Swansea will make things interesting, but if Spurs score first, then they should be able to go on and bag the three points with relative ease.
