Nasser El Khayati has told Queens Park Rangers’ official site that he has loved his time at Loftus Road so far.
El Khayati joined Rangers from Burton Albion in the January transfer window, after Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink made the Egyptian forward one of his main targets.
And the 27-year-old says that his new teammates have made settling in at the club very easy.
“I am really, really enjoying my time here,” El Khayati said. “The boys have been great with me and have really helped me settle and made me feel very welcome.“I’m looking forward to continuing to work my way into the team, get more minutes and keeping improving as a player to help QPR.”
El Khayati is a player who Hasselbaink knows well, as the pair worked together at Burton earlier in the season.
El Khayati has made a positive start at QPR, and he has already managed to make four appearances for the London club.
The winger has looked skilful in his initial displays, and he has made the step up to playing Championship football comfortably.
El Khayati made his first start for QPR in their match against Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough yesterday evening.
Although he was unable to inspire Rangers to victory, he played his part as Hasselbaink’s men picked up an impressive 1-1 draw at Hillsborough, which has lifted them up to 13th in the Championship table.
