Manchester United take on FC Midtjylland in the second leg of their UEFA Europa League clash this Thursday. The Red Devils succumbed to a shock 2-1 defeat in Denmark and will be desperately trying to turn things around and continue in the competition.
United, who were knocked out of the Champions League at Group Stages, have had to battle with plenty of injury problems in recent months but today they received a double boost.
As seen in pictures from their training session at Carrington today United welcomed South American du Marcos Rojo and Antonio Valencia back to training after lengthy absences.
Argentine Rojo has been missing from action since November last year after he dislocated his shoulder against PSV Eindhoven.
Meanwhile Ecuadorean Valencia has been absent since October after a foot injury picked up in the Manchester derby saw him require surgery.
The return of these two will help the defensive shortage at the club.
However David De Gea did not train today, which handed a chance for young stopper Joel Castro Pereira to train with the first-team. The Swiss-born 19-year-old Portugal youth international joined in the session.
As did Marcus Rashford. The 18-year-old striker is a local lad and will be hoping to get his chance for the first-team.
