Lewie Coyle and Lewis Cook react on Twitter to Leeds United's draw with Fulham

Elland Road East Stand

Leeds United drew 1-1 with Fulham at Elland Road last night.

Lewie Coyle has expressed his delight on Twitter after making his full Championship debut during Leeds United’s match against Fulham yesterday day.

Coyle replaced Scott Wootton in Leeds’ starting line-up last night, and he managed to put in a credible performance during the contest.

Steve Evans raved about the youngster’s performance when interviewed by BBC Radio Leeds after the match.

And Coyle says he was very pleased to have started his first league match for the club he has grown up at.

Leeds match against Fulham was an evenly contested one, with both teams rather cancelling each other out.

The Cottagers took the lead when Tom Cairney scored, but the standout moment of the contest was most certainly Lewis Cook’s goal.

Cook scored what may be voted as goal of the season, after he smashed in a 35-yard shot straight into the top corner, much to his satisfaction.

Liam Cooper also posted a congratulatory message to both Cook and Coyle on the social media site.

Leeds’ draw with Fulham means that they are now winless in four matches, and they sit in 17th place in the Championship table.
