Davide Astori is not getting ahead of himself after Tottenham's Harry Kane was ruled out of the match against Fiorentina.
Fiorentina defender Davide Astori could be forgiven for feeling positive that Harry Kane will miss their Europa League clash with Tottenham.
Italian international Astori is not getting ahead of himself, and believes Tottenham will be just as tough a team to beat without Kane.
He told Tuttomercatoweb: "Sure he is an important player, but Tottenham have an important squad, and all the credentials to make a great match."
Astori added that he felt Fiorentina could go on and get a win, to take them to the last 16 of the competition.
He said: "In the first leg we did well. We want to impose our game, like we did for long stretches in Florence.
"The month of February is a crossroads for our season. We want to do well in the Europa League, then we will think of the championship. We have a squad that allows us to be fighting in all competitions."
Tottenham lost over two legs to the Serie A side last season at the same stage, but this time around, after a 1-1 draw in the first leg just like last year, it is they who have the crucial home advantage in the second, and Mauricio Pochettino will be determined that his side make it count.
