Eoin Doyle has hailed team-mate Joe Garner after the Preston North End marksman reached 100 career goals in Tuesday's 2-1 home win over Charlton Athletic.
Callum Robinson struck the winner on 52 minutes as the Lilywhites secured a fourth-straight Championship win to move within six points of the playoff spots.
There was another reason to celebrate for Garner, whose first-half opener saw him reach treble figures in the goalscoring stakes, and Doyle was quick to pay his tribute.
He wrote on Twitter: "What a week of results 4 us. massive congrats 2 Joe garner on scoring 100 career goals. Amazing achievement 4 an exceptionally freckly man."
It was only Garner's third goal since December - and second from open play since a 1-1 draw at Fulham way back in November.
The 27-year-old, who has also enjoyed spells with Carlisle United, Nottingham Forest and Watford, netted 26 League One goals last term to inspire Preston to promotion.
However, he has netted just five times in 30 Championship outings this season in what has proven a testing campaign in the second tier.
