Liverpool youngster Sergi Canos is making a big impression on loan at Championship side Brentford.
The Reds signed the teenager from Barcelona's academy in 2013, and he has gradually been working his way up to the Liverpool first team since then.
His performance for Brentford against Wolves last night suggested he may not be too far away, scoring one goal and assisting another in a 3-0 home win.
Canos now has four goals and two assists to his name from his loan spell at Griffin Park. He has played 25 league games, but only nine of these have been starts.
It was the 19-year-old's first goal since a strike against Reading in late December, and helped lift Brentford into 11th position in the Championship.
Making the break through against Liverpool will be another challenge altogether, but Canos is doing enough to suggest he deserves to be given an opportunity, at least in pre-season.
Brentford fans reacted to Canos' display last night, and were wholly positive regarding the Spaniard.
