Former QPR hero Trevor Sinclair has taken to Twitter today in order to react to comments made by the club's owner Tony Fernandes today.
Fernandes held an exclusive interview with Sky Sports today, talking about the club's future under manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.
The former Chelsea striker was appointed as Chris Ramsey's replacement back in December, but hasn't quite enjoyed the success from his days at Burton Albion just yet.
With just two wins from 15 games in charge, Hasselbaink hasn't hit the ground running at Loftus Road, but only four defeats mean that there is some solidity to his side somewhere, even though they were hammered 3-0 at home by West London rivals Fulham.
Gone are the days of exorbitant contracts to ageing players, QPR now want to not only sign young Football League players, but also bring through their own talent.
Former QPR star Trevor Sinclair still takes an interest in the club's fortunes, and took to Twitter after seeing the interview to state that Fernandes' comments were a positive step for QPR, supporting the notion that stability and youth development will be key to the club's success.
Do you think Hasselbaink will get it right at Loftus Road?
