Tottenham striker Harry Kane is injured - and fans unsurprisingly started comparing him to WWE star Kane.
As reported by The Telegraph earlier today, Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has suffered a broken nose, and must wear a protective mask.
Many fans and pundits have said this season that the one player Spurs can't afford to lose through injury is Kane, and his injury news may have concerned some Spurs fans.
Kane suffered the injury in Sunday's FA Cup tie against Crystal Palace, as he broke his nose - but won't miss much playing time as he will wear a protective mask, as is often the case with such injuries, until he has recovered.
With games against Fiorentina in the Europa League and Swansea City in the Premier League over the next few days, Tottenham will be glad that Kane won't be missing for long if at all, depending on whether Pochettino chooses to start him.
Fans took to Twitter after hearing the news to give their reactions, with many suggesting that Palace are overly physical having suffered injuries to Jan Vertonghen, Mousa Dembele and now Kane, whilst some are growing increasingly concerned that Spurs are picking up a few injuries as they push for the Premier League title.
Others saw the funnier side of things; after all, with Kane having to wear a mask for the foreseeable future, the comparisons to his WWE namesake are obvious.
Fans suggested that Kane should wear a similar mask to the WWE star Kane in his 'demon' persona - something which would at least give fans something to laugh about as Kane recovers from his broken nose.
