Taking to his personal Twitter account, Saido Berahino has posted a message showing him in training, ahead of West Brom’s game against Crystal Palace this weekend.
The Baggies host Palace this weekend, hoping to pick up another victory that will take them further away from the relegation places.
They are joint on points with the Eagles, and although Palace won in the FA Cup over the weekend - whilst West Brom lost - Tony Pulis’ side have been in better form in the league recently.
Pulis has been coming under criticism recently for the poor football West Brom have been playing, and for his treatment of Berahino.
The striker failed to leave the Hawthorns in the summer transfer window, and remained with the Baggies at the end of the January window as well, but it is clear that Pulis is not that fond of him.
He has started just nine Premier League games this season, and is nothing but a second choice player under Pulis.
However, Berahino continues to work hard to get himself up to speed, training to prove to Pulis that he deserves an extended run in the starting XI before the end of the season.
Berahino has scored eight goals and registered one assist in 27 games in all competitions this season, taking his career tally for the Baggies to 35 goals in 106 appearances.
