David Beckham excited to see Tottenham Hotspur pair Dele Alli and Harry Kane at Euro 2016

The Spurs duo have been in great form this season.

Tottenham Hotspur may have been knocked out of the FA Cup at the weekend but Spurs fans are still hopeful of a successful campaign.

Domestic cups are off the table but the club are pushing for the Premier League title and are at a good stage in their Europa League tie with Fiorentina.

Two players that have been integral to their success are Dele Alli and Harry Kane.

Alli has been a revelation since arriving from Milton Keynes Dons whilst Kane has continued on from his breakthrough season last term and both are now vital to England's international plans.

Their form has certainly caught the eye of a London lad who knows a thing or two about winning Premier League titles and playing for England.

David Beckham is quoted as telling talkSPORT:

“I have been really impressed by Dele Alli. He has had a great season at Spurs.

“It is great to see young players coming through and playing with the enjoyment that you want them to play with.

“It is what Roy done so well - he has brought so many young players into the squad and given them the chance to play on the biggest stage.

“Harry Kane – you see a player like that and he has got an honesty about the way he plays and that is what I love seeing about the way he plays the game.

“He works hard and you can tell he cares about the game and you can tell he cares about playing for our country. Seeing players like that play on the biggest stage is exciting and I am looking forward to the Euros.”

That sort of praise from a man with over 100 caps for England and a worldwide recognition factor beyond anyone else in the sport is certainly a great achievement from the pair.

Alli and Kane now look like two future stars for England who, one day, might even rival the appearance record Beckham has for an outfield England player.

By the sounds of it he would be very pleased if these Tottenham players do go on to become such important stars for England.
