The DR Congo international returned to action against Spurs this week.
Crystal Palace picked up a massive win at the weekend in the FA Cup. A rare goal from Martin Kelly proved enough for victory against Spurs at White Hart Lane in a game that ended 1-0 to The Eagles.
But progression to the next round of the FA Cup was not all that Palace fans and players had to celebrate from the game. One of the club's star players, Yannick Bolasie, also made his long-awaited return from injury in the tie.
The DR Congo international had been out of action since December and his return is a big boost for Crystal Palace.
“You know what Yannick can do - hold the ball up, he can go past players and create the fear element.
“His return gives you a lift - physically and mentally.
“Yann’s got bundles of ability and has been working hard to get back.
“Hopefully we can kick on with him and the others who are coming back soon as well.”
There is no doubt Bolasie has been missed. He carries the extra spark and creativity that Palace need in order to unlock defences and win games.
With Bolasie now fit and Emmanuel Adebayor also at the club Palace fans will be hoping to see plenty more goals at Selhurst Park during the remainder of the campaign.
