Federico Bernardeschi is being tipped as the key man if Fiorentina are to knock Tottenham Hotspur out of the Europa League.
Federico Bernardeschi scored Fiorentina's goal against Tottenham Hotspur a week ago to rescue a draw for the Italians, but relied on a touch of fortune to do so.
His shot deflected off Spurs captain Ryan Mason and went past goalkeeper Michel Vorm, and he is being tipped to cause more misery on the Premier League side this week, if he can start believing in his potential.
Former Fiorentina defender Mauro Dello Martira, has told Tuttomercatoweb he believes Berardeschi can be the difference maker.
Martira played for Fiorentina between 1973 and 1978, winning the Coppa Italia in 1975.
He said: "I hope Borja Valero, Kalinic and the whole team will uphold our colours in London. If I had to bet on someone would say Bernardeschi, today he is certainly one of the most talented in our league. I am convinced that he has yet to capture fully the awareness of his own strength. Only in this way will be able to win."
Bernardeschi was this week linked with a £20 million move to Manchester United or Real Madrid, by The Sun, a testament to the 22-year-old's development this season, which has seen him net five goals in all competitions.
Tottenham have their own exciting winger, Erik Lamela, who missed the first leg through injury and will be hoping to make an impact against a side he once duelled with in Serie A for Roma.
