West Ham fans react on Twitter to Michail Antonio's performance against Blackburn

West Ham United are through to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.

West Ham United continued their fine campaign when they overcame Blackburn Rovers 5-1 in the fifth round of the FA Cup this weekend.

The Championship side actually took the lead through Ben Marshall with 20 minutes on the clock but that was as good as it got for the hosts.

Victor Moses equalised for West Ham shortly afterwards and Dimitri Payet put the Hammers ahead nine minutes before half-time.

A second-half dismissal for Chris Taylor made things increasingly hard for Blackburn and, despite a later red card for Cheikhou Kouyate, a brace from Emmanuel Emenike and another goal from Payet put the gloss on a fine result for the visitors.

For all West Ham’s attacking intent another player shone in an unfamiliar position.

Summer signing Michail Antonio had to wait patiently for chances this season but he has quickly become a fan favourite and against Blackburn he shone at right-back.

With Sam Byram cup-tied and James Tomkins injured the winger stepped in and he did not disappoint.

After the match we took to Twitter to see what West Ham fans thought of Antonio’s latest performance and you can read a selection of what we found below:
