The Blues are currently 11th in the table after another disappointing campaign.

Tony Cottee has explained why he has found himself frustrated with Everton this season, to Sky Sports Soccer Saturday, broadcast from 12pm, February 20th.

The Blues have endured a disappointing campaign once again this season, currently finding themselves 11th in the table with just 12 games remaining.

It has been a turbulent campaign, with dazzling displays of attacking football often following by disappointing losses.

They endured one such defeat last time around as they were beaten 1-0 by West Bromwich Albion at Goodison Park, and Cottee says they have been frustrating.

“I’m frustrated as an Evertonian seeing what Everton are doing this season,” he told Soccer Saturday.

“Yes they’re playing fantastic football at times and I think this is the best team they’ve had in a long time, but they’re not getting the results.”

“You cannot be losing to West Brom at home with all those chances. For whatever reason they’re just not killing teams off.”

There is no denying that Everton have been disappointing this season, especially after how poor they were last season.

That was put down to the Europa League, with many believing that their run in that competition saw their league form suffering as a result.

Given how good a squad Roberto Martinez currently has at his disposal also, that has compounded the anger even more.

The likes of Romelu Lukaku, Ross Barkley, Gerard Deulofeu and John Stones have all impressed and there is a fear the Blues are failing to make use of them while they have them.
