Everton's Steven Pienaar is reported to be considering a move to China.
Everton midfielder Steven Pienaar is considering making a switch to the Chinese Superleague.
Pienaar is 33, and has barely featured for Everton this season, making only three appearances in the Premier League, all as a substitute.
The midfielder made just nine league appearances under Roberto Martinez in 2014/15, three of which were starts.
The Chinese transfer deadline passes at the end of the month meaning Pienaar could leave immediately if a deal is agreed.
Players have left European clubs for inflated transfer fees to move to China over the past two months, one such example being former Everton forward Nikica Jelavic who departed West Ham last week.
Pienaar's contract expires at the end of the current season, and a departure would mark the end of his second spell at the club. He originally joined in 2007 before leaving for Tottenham in 2011, and re-signing 12 months later.
