Leeds United gave William Vouama a run out for the under-21s.

Leeds United handed a debut to trialist William Vouama in an under-21 game against Huddersfield Town.

Vouama featured on the bench against Nottingham Forest a week ago but did not get on.

He is a 19-year-old winger who currently plays for French side Viry-Chatillon, who play in his country's fourth tier, and has made seven appearances this season.

BBC Radio Leeds' Adam Pope posted a tweet (above) displaying Vouama in action after coming off the bench in Monday's 2-2 draw, in which Eoghan Stokes netted both goals for the Whites.

The match also featured first team star Gaetano Berardi who was playing in his first match since coming back form an ankle injury sustained in December.

Head coach Steve Evans was asked about Vouama in his pre-Fulham press conference by BBC Radio Leeds, but said he knew little about the player, indicating he is not being considered as an option for this season, but a longer term project for the academy.
