Slaven Bilic's side beat Blackburn Rovers 5-1 on Sunday afternoon to reach the FA Cup quarter finals.
The Hammers are enjoying a fine campaign under Slaven Bilic, currently sitting seventh in the table, level on points with Southampton in sixth and just a point off Manchester United in fifth.
They are also flying in the FA Cup; with Sunday seeing them beat Championship side Blackburn Rovers 5-1 to progress to the quarter-finals of that competition.
All that has come from them having their best squad in a number of years, and Owen says it must be exciting for the Hammers faithful at present.
“They’ve got a chance in the FA Cup and they’re flying high in the league. It’s an exciting time to be a Hammers fan, with a new stadium, the quarterfinals of the FA Cup and a fantastic league campaign as well.”
“It must be great going to Upton Park every week and watching some of these players.”
Slaven Bilic will now be hoping they can go even further in the FA Cup, with many fans hoping to win the competition as the perfect send off for Upton Park.
The club is set to leave their famous old ground in the summer as they move to the Olympic Stadium in what will be a highly emotional affair for everyone associated with the club.
Winn the FA Cup would be a fitting ending to their time at the Boleyn Ground, and it certainly seems they are determined to make that happen this season.
