Leeds United's Gaetano Berardi is back in action.

Leeds United have been given a welcome boost by the return of Gaetano Berardi to action.

The Swiss defender starts this afternoon's (Monday's) under-21 match with Huddersfield Town.

He has been out of action since last year, with Scott Wootton deputising for the first team.

Wootton has not been able to produce the same quality of performance Berardi had done prior to his injury, and put in a disastrous display at the weekend, scoring the own goal which saw them eliminated from the FA Cup against Premier League side Watford.

Here is a look at how Leeds line up for the fixture, taking place at Thorp Arch.

Line-up: Grimes, Berardi, P McKay, Purver, Denton, Phillips, Sloth, Stokes, Parkin, Mulhern, J McKay

Substitutes: Richardson, Skelton, Vouama, Lyman, Walters

A notable inclusion is loanee William Vouama, who was an unused substitute last week for the under-21s against Nottingham Forest

Under-21 top scorer Casper Sloth remains involved, hinting he is no closer to making the breakthrough to the first team set up.

January signings the McKay twins also feature, along with promising midfielder Kalvin Phillips.
