Ray Parlour brimming with praise for excellent West Ham on Twitter

The former Premier League midfielder has lauded the West Ham team.

Ray Parlour is impressed with West Ham United's 'excellent' side and feels these are exciting times in east London.

Indeed, the pundit and former Arsenal midfielder believes West Ham have plenty to look forward to when they move to the Olympic Stadium, as well as in the FA Cup this season.

The Irons thrashed Blackburn Rovers 5-1 in the fifth round of the tournament on Sunday afternoon and have been drawn against either Shrewsbury Town or Manchester United in the quarter-finals.

When the West Ham squad is fully fit, there appear to be no weaknesses within the side.

The Hammers boast good goalkeepers (plural) and a solid back four. Slaven Bilic's men are also covered in midfield and now possess pace and talent out wide.

The creativity of Manuel Lanzini and Dimitri Payet is second to none and, in Emmanuel Emenike, West Ham could have a forward who scores prolifically.

That's not to mention Diafra Sakho and even Andy Carroll...
