The talented midfielder watched former team-mate Bradley Lewis in action.
The FA Cup continued this weekend but last year's runners-up were not in action. Aston Villa have had a terrible season and were dumped out of the competition by Manchester City.
Villa players were however probably glad for the week off. They have been in the crosshairs this week after their difficult season took it's most humiliating turn last weekend - in a 6-0 thrashing against Liverpool at Villa Park.
One Villa player has been in the news this season perhaps more than anyone else. Jack Grealish has made more headlines off the pitch than on it this term - after impressing in 2014-15.
He has been struggling with injury recently and this weekend he took some time to check out some non-league football.
He posted this message on his Twitter account:
He was checking out Halesowen Town in the Northern Premier League Premier Division and watched former Aston Villa team-mate Bradley Lewis as Halesowen took on Buxton and drew 1-1.
Grealish will now be hoping to come back from this mini-break to help Villa in their current predicament and find some of his form from last season.
