Tottenham Hotspur were knocked out of the FA Cup by Crystal Palace earlier today.
Lord Sugar has suggested that Crystal Palace were fortunate to beat Tottenham Hotspur in the fifth round of the FA Cup earlier today.
Palace won 1-0 at White Hart Lane to book their place in the quarter-finals of the cup competition, but they were on the back foot for much of the contest.
Tottenham hit the post twice and had a shot cleared off the line, but Palace made Mauricio Pochettino’s side pay for their wastefulness.
Martin Kelly scored the winner for the Eagles, but Lord Sugar was not convinced that the victory was deserved.
Indeed, The Apprentice host suggested that Palace’s win had more to do with luck than Alan Pardew’s tactics.
Pardew post match interview " Lucky ....no we came here with my tactical plan and it paid off "— Lord Sugar (@Lord_Sugar) February 21, 2016

Well that is football . There is no way we deserved to lose that game.— Lord Sugar (@Lord_Sugar) February 21, 2016
Palace’s win over Tottenham was their first in four matches, and it also brought to an end Spurs' unbeaten streak.
The Lilywhites had not tasted defeat for eight matches, but they will now have to prove that they can bounce back from disappointment with the season reaching the crunch stage.
Tottenham’s next match comes against Fiorentina in the Europa League on Thursday night before they face Swansea City in the Premier League.
