Graham Roberts and Ray Clemence react on Twitter to Tottenham's cup exit

Crystal Palace knocked Tottenham out of the FA Cup on Sunday afternoon.

Graham Roberts felt Tottenham Hotspur were unlucky to lose to Crystal Palace in the fifth round of the FA Cup on Sunday afternoon.

The former Tottenham man did, however, emphasise the fact the north London side can now focus on 12 'Premier League cup finals' - as well as the Europa League.

Spurs were pushing on three fronts but Crystal Palace's 1-0 win has ended their hopes of lifting the FA Cup.

Emmanuel Adebayor had turned out for Palace against his old club but it was Martin Kelly who netted the south London club's winner.

Meanwhile, another former Tottenham man in Ray Clemence also took to Twitter, suggesting too many Spurs players had an 'off day' against Crystal Palace.

But he, too, is now concentrating on Europe.

Tottenham fans will no doubt rue their cup exit but they will be fully aware there is a grander prize on offer considering Mauricio Pochettino's men are only two points off the top of the Premier League table.

Alan Pardew and Crystal Palace, however, can dream of Wembley.
