Louis van Gaal offered a free holiday if he gets sacked by Manchester United

Bet Louis will doing anything to get the sack now!

It really does look like time is pretty much up for Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal, especially with the rumours of Jose Mourinho nabbing himself a job at Old Trafford.

After leading the Red Devils out of the Champions League, van Gaal has been unable to lead them towards challenging for the Premier League title.

And despite United's hierarchy seeming to stick by him for the time being - even after their defeat to FC Midtjylland in the Europa League on Thursday evening - it really does look like he is ultimately destined for the chop.

While van Gaal might be his usual grumpy self if and when he gets sacked, it looks like the Dutchman has got a bit of a bonus and something to look forward to whenever that day comes.

But what is it? Well, it's not any potential payoff by United if he does leave before the end of his contract; it has actually come from a Dutch travel company who feel a bit sorry for their fellow countryman and are willing to give van Gaal a free holiday to anywhere!

Speaking to the Sun, Genius Travel founder Gennie Freen said: “Since he has been in England, it’s all gone downhill . . . both for Manchester United and the Dutch national team.

“That’s why I’m offering LVG a much-needed break, anytime from now. We love him in Holland so I’m ready to come to his aid.

“And we have cars or planes all laid on ready to whisk him away after the Shrewsbury game if the worse happens to him.”

Blimey! Now we're wondering that van Gaal might throw the FA Cup clash against Shrewsbury Town for a free trip to Honolulu!
