Betting update: Pardew's men bigger favourites for FA Cup glory than Everton and West Ham

Alan Pardew

Crystal Palace have made a big impression on bookmakers, being priced shorter than Everton and West Ham.

Crystal Palace's fifth-round FA Cup win has made a big impression on bookmakers, according to Sky Bet.

Indeed, Alan Pardew's men are priced at 7/1 to win the FA Cup. That's a shorter price than Everton (8/1) and West Ham United (9/1).

It seems the FA Cup draw has influenced the odds, as Everton have been drawn against Chelsea, while West Ham could visit Manchester United if Louis van Gaal's men knock Shrewsbury Town out on Monday night.

Crystal Palace travel to Reading and can dream of a visit to Wembley Stadium.

As per Sky Bet, the overall favourites are Chelsea, priced at 3/1, while Arsenal follow at 100/300 and Manchester United are third at a price of 4/1.

But the likes of Everton, West Ham and Crystal Palace have a better chance to taste FA Cup glory than in plenty of recent years.

The Toffees reached the FA Cup final a few years ago, while the Hammers have also made it to the last two in recent times. Palace, though, have a rich history and special bond with the competition.
