Ajer is a 17-year-old midfielder who will join Celtic in the summer transfer window on a four-year contract.
“Kristoffer Ajer became the 23rd signing of Ronny Deila’s era when he joined Celtic this week,” the former Celtic striker wrote in The Daily Record.
“On paper, he looks a really exciting prospect at 17 years of age, but where on earth or when he’ll fit in, I’m not so sure.”
Ajer is a talented young player who impressed Celtic during a trial, and hopefully for the fans he will prove to be a good signing.
Given his age, the Norway Under-21 international is unlikely to play regularly for the Bhoys’ first team next season.
The teenager will probably be part of the youth team and will get to play for the senior side from time to time during the 2016-17 campaign.
It is clear that Ajer is one for the future for Celtic, and it made sense for the Scottish Premiership giants to sign someone of his talent.
Celtic are at the top of the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 58 points from 55 matches.
Ronny Deila’s side are three points clear of Aberdeen, who are currently second in the standings and have played a game more.
