Jurgen Klopp will be looking to bring in plenty of his own faces to the club.
Liverpool's season has certainly been something of a stutter. They decided to send Brendan Rodgers on his way earlier in the season and brought in popular former Borussia Dortmund gaffer Jurgen Klopp in his place.
The German has certainly overseen some impressive results and eye-catching attacking performances. However, he has not overly improved the actual form of the club - who are still struggling for consistency in the league.
The summer will be big for Liverpool's boss, with one arrival already confirmed in Joel Matip.
However Stuart Pearce, speaking to Sky Sports News yesterday (18/02/2016), believes that Liverpool will be doing much more business in the summer - suggesting Klopp will not be so cuddly when it comes to trimming the squad:
"I wouldn't be surprised if Liverpool are the biggest spenders, both in and out of the football club, this summer coming up.
"I think they have got to juggle the pack. They've got a manager that, you know I see him come on the pitch after the games and cuddle his players and all that game. But underneath that I think there is a manager there that's going to be ruthless come the summer."
There are certain players in the Liverpool team at the moment that do not seem to fit into Klopp's footballing ideals and he will also want to bring in plenty that can.
The sort of players and the amount he wants will not come cheap so Liverpool fans can surely expect plenty of spending in the summer.
Whether they will be the biggest spenders? Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City might have something to say about that.
