Petr Cech and Laurent Koscielny are joined by stars from Manchester United, Chelsea, Everton and Blackburn.

West Ham United captain Mark Noble has named current Arsenal stars Petr Cech and Laurent Koscielny in an eleven of the best players he’s faced, for Sky Sports.

The Hammers midfielder opted for a 4-3-3 formation for his star studded team, and named the Gunners duo among his back five.

On Cech, Noble says “every time I played against him I thought: 'What a goalie,” while he is equally full of praise for Koscielny, describing the defender as “an unsung hero” in the Arsenal defence.

Playing alongside Koscielny in central defence Noble went for former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand, while the right back position is filled by another former United star in Gary Neville, at left back is Everton’s left back Leighton Baines.

In midfield there is a surprise inclusion, as former Blackburn Rovers star Tugay makes the list, with Noble saying to Sky Sports he was taught an “absolute lesson in how to play midfield” when he came up against the former Turkey international.

Alongside Tugay, Noble has opted for current Real Madrid star, and former Tottenham Hotspur rival Luka Modric, while he also goes with another of Manchester United’s former stars, this time Paul Scholes.

On Scholes, Noble bestows the highest praise of all, saying he is “the best player we've seen in this country in a long, long time.”

On to attack, and Noble picks former Chelsea man Didier Drogba in his list alongside former Liverpool star Fernando Torres, with Wayne Rooney rounding off the team.
