According to The Mirror, former Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner has been provided with the opportunity to move to the Chinese Super League.
Bendtner currently plies his trade in the Bundesliga with Wolfsburg, but he has scored just once in the league since the second weekend of the season.
The 28-year-old has remained a part of the first-team squad at the German club, but he was left out of the 18-man group for the Champions League triumph over Gent on Wednesday night.
If Bendtner departs the Volkswagen Arena, then he will end an 18-month association with Wolfsburg which has seen him start just 11 times in all competitions.
It has been suggested in The Mirror that the Danish international could earn in excess of six figures per week at a club that is yet to be named, and he would become the latest big-name player to depart Europe for Asia.
Earlier this week, Ezequiel Lavezzi left Paris Saint-Germain to sign a two-year contract with Hebei China Fortune.
