Brentford will take on Derby at Griffin Park in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.
“The Championship game between Brentford and Derby features two sides struggling badly for form, so I’ll sit on the fence and go 1-1,” Owen wrote on Colossusbets.com.
“Brentford have lost their last two games by an aggregate of 7-0, albeit those defeats came on the road against better sides than Derby, and they also lost the reverse fixture 2-0.
“But Derby are arguably in even worse nick, and haven’t won for over a month, for all that they are still sixth in the league, seven places higher than Brentford.”
Derby will head into the game against Brentford on the back of a 1-0 defeat to Milton Keynes Dons at the iPro Stadium.
The Rams are sixth in the Championship table at the moment with 51 points from 31 matches.
Meanwhile, Brentford currently find themselves 13th in the standings with 40 points from 31 games.
The Bees will head into the match against Derby on the back of a heavy 4-0 loss to Sheffield Wednesday away from home at the Hillsborough Stadium.
Derby have not won any of their previous eight league games, the longest current winless run in the Championship this season.
Meanwhile, Brentford have won just two of their last 13 league games against the Rams.
