The French striker has been in fine form for the Gunners this season, with a series of impressive displays as Arsene Wenger’s first choice centre forward.
He is currently their top goal-scorer with 18 goals in all competitions, 12 of which have come in the Premier League.
He and his teammates are eyeing the title come the end of the campaign, but for Giroud the only target is to be a consistent scorer for the side, something he is arguably already on his way to achieving.
"Consistency is my target," he told arsenal.com. "Always getting better and better. I know what I can do, I’m pleased with what I have achieved so far but I really want to carry on and I’m sure I can still improve myself.
“I try to work on it every day to help the team to reach our aims and to win this league."
Consistency is a smart target for Giroud, who has gone a long way to answering many doubts about his ability this season.
It has long been argued that the Gunners need a world-class striker in their squad if they are to be real challengers, but his displays this season have now got people questioning if that is the case after all.
The French international's return so far has been a decent one to say the least, and he will be hoping that he can add more as the season comes to its conclusion.
