Rohan Ricketts asked to choose between Arsenal and Tottenham for league title

Tottenham Huddle V Arsenal

Rohan Ricketts played for both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.

Rohan Ricketts has stated on social networking site Twitter that he would like Tottenham Hotspur to win the Premier League title this season.

Ricketts, who played for both Arsenal and Tottenham, wants Mauricio Pochettino’s side to be rewarded for the way they play and for the club's faith in young players.

Tottenham are second in the Premier League table at the moment with 51 points from 26 matches.

Spurs are just two points behind leaders Leicester City and level on points with North London rivals and third-placed Arsenal.

Manchester City are just four points behind Tottenham in fourth and are very much in the running for the Premier League title this season.

It will not be easy for Spurs to win the league title this campaign, especially with their FA Cup and Europa League commitments.

However, given the way Pochettino’s side have performed and the level of consistency they have shown this season, Tottenham have to be considered as one of the top favourites for the title.
