Mark Noble raves about Leighton Baines, says he's always clever v West Ham

The West Ham skipper has heaped praise on the 31-year-old.

West Ham United captain Mark Noble has picked Everton left-back Leighton Baines in a fantasy XI of opponents he's faced in his career, according to Sky Sports.

And the Hammers midfielder says Baines is always 'so clever' whenever he's played against West Ham and Noble.

Noble told Sky's Fantasy Football Club: "He's punished me before, I got sent off once against Everton and he put two free-kicks into the top corner.

"I'd just scored a penalty, and we were 2-1 up, but from the resulting free-kick from my foul to get me sent off he bent one in the top corner. I just think every time we've played against him he's so clever with the ball."

Both West Ham and Everton are in FA Cup action this weekend and they are two sides perfectly placed to try and make a go of the competition.

Everton have little to play for in the Premier League - there is still hope of a strong finish but they just appear too inconsistent.

West Ham, meanwhile, have enjoyed a good season but arguably have more chance of cup glory than a top-four finish.

Neither side lack size, though, (they are both big clubs) and neither lack quality. So why not go all out this weekend and then, hopefully, in the quarter-finals?
